After attending Springfield College taking a course in Body Shop and the National School of Business in Rapid City, he came back to Bridgewater to help operate the family business and eventually taking over the business from his dad. He owned/operated the business until January 2018 when his son, Craig took over the business. Ed still comes to work daily and makes sure business operations are running smoothly. Craig graduated from Bridgewater High School in 1988 and attended Southeast Area Vo-Tech in Sioux Falls graduating with a degree in Auto Body. He operated Ed's Body Shop before coming to help at Meyer Motor in 1994. Along with working various areas of the dealership business, he still does body work as well.
